On Saturday January 22nd - thanks to Maryl for sending us this report. We will shortly have postings on the March in DC, as well as the pre-March - the Vigil the night before and the Mass for NY'ers before the March.
Over 30 people held signs and walked the sidewalk in 22 degree temperature outside a White Plains abortion mill on Mamaroneck Avenue Saturday, Jan 22, 2022. Lucy Panama organized the march and spoke to the group at noon.
People from all over Westchester County gathered. Some had been to the Washington March the day earlier, such as Tina Bilesky and Gina Molinelli. Randy Holden held a sign he had made which said: “Tiny Lives Matter Too.” Catchy, timely and effective! Another sign showed an unborn baby and an infant which read “I was a Person. I still am.” New friends were made in the sidewalk conversations and old friendships renewed.
A policeman came at the beginning of the demonstration as did a patrol car. It was humorous to see the uniformed policeman marching with the demonstrators. Many cars tooted in agreement with our stand; there was only one obscenity shouted from a car.
Thanks for posting my report & pictures. After the demonstration, my keyless lock wouldn't open the car door. Benjamin Yeung went out of his way, drove me to 20 minutes to my home in Yonkers and then back to the parking lot with my spare key. A fine young man, doing a good deed. PRO LIFERS ARE THE BEST! Thank you for your beautiful PRO-LIFE witness and actively doing what St. John Paul Ii asked all of us to do: “GO TO THE STREETS AND PROCLAIM THE GOSPEL OF LIFE”!
