Joe Scheidler, the great Chicago Pro-life leader, gone at age 93.

Over the years he had many visits to the NY area. He was responsible for the conversion of dozens of abortionists, and an unnumbered crowd of people are walking the earth today because of his efforts.   Below are some tributes.

Scheidler RICO case, the longest case in U.S. federal court history and the only one to make three trips to the U.S. Supreme Court, including 8-1 and 8-0 rulings in 2003 and 2006 that fully vindicated him. His 1985 book CLOSED: 99 Ways to Stop Abortion, a centerpiece of the NOW v. Scheidler trial, became the manual for pro-life activists throughout the world. Joe Scheidler died of pneumonia at the age of 93 at 9:45 a.m. on Monday, January 18, 2021, surrounded by his family at his home on Chicago’s northwest side. Scheidler was heralded as one of the early pro-life leaders to participate in protests at abortion clinics and to encourage Americans to vocally oppose abortion by speaking out for unborn children at the very abortion centers where they are killed. Scheidler has been fighting for the rights of the unborn even before the infamous Roe v. Wade decision. After working for other pro-life organizations for several years, Joe founded the Pro-Life Action League to serve the need he saw for pro-life Americans to take bold, direct action to save babies from abortion in their own communities.

Missouri: the first abortion-free state

If true, certainly wonderful news. One down, 49 to go.

Missouri appears to be the first state in America without an abortion facility. Recently, Operation Rescue confirmed that the Planned Parenthood in St. Louis, the only licensed abortion facility in Missouri, is not aborting unborn babies – and hasn’t been for months.

“While the [St. Louis] Planned Parenthood remains open and licensed for abortions, we confirmed that none are being done there. … There is no operational abortion facility in the State of Missouri, making it the first Abortion-Free State at this time,” Operation Rescue president Troy Newman said last week.

Instead, the group found that the St. Louis facility is referring women to a new Planned Parenthood a few miles across the border in Illinois for abortions.

The St. Louis facility still has a license to do abortions, but it apparently is choosing not to. Newman said he believes the reason is because Planned Parenthood does not want to comply with Missouri’s pro-life laws.

“It is obvious that Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region … seeks to avoid having to comply with Missouri’s strong pro-life laws, and has opted to abort in Illinois where abortion facilities are essentially unaccountable,” Newman said. “This shows a gross disrespect for the lives and safety of the women Planned Parenthood purports to serve.”

Tops on the “Squad’s” wish list?

Repeal of the Hyde Amendment – the only thing standing between Americans and their tax dollars directly funding all abortion.

As you’ll see, this petition simply urges your U.S. Representative and Senators to protect the taxpayers’ conscience by defending the Hyde Amendment and blocking direct taxpayer funding of all abortion.

Frankly, I’m afraid you and I are behind the eight ball right now.

You see, even as recently as when he was Barack Obama’s Vice President, Joe Biden claimed to support Hyde Amendment protections.

But during his presidential campaign he reversed his position – caving into Planned Parenthood’s favorite politicians – Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), and Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Ilhan Omar.

And House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has said repeal of the Hyde Amendment is “long overdue,” all but promising repeal is in her cross hairs THIS YEAR.

In fact, just weeks ago, the Democrat-run Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Subcommittee held a hearing on the Hyde Amendment.

Their conclusion?

That blocking direct taxpayer funding of abortion is somehow “racist and discriminatory!”

The truth is, pro-abortion politicians know repealing the Hyde Amendment will line the pockets of their pals at Planned Parenthood who will return the favor by funding their political campaigns to the tune of millions of dollars.

And the bottom line is, more taxpayer funding for abortion means more abortion.
