 Monday evening, Sept 23rd  will be doing a webinar workshop through the Diocese of Bridgeport CT, on reaching out to those who have experienced abortion. While we have come a very long way, there still seems to be a disconnect when it comes to recognizing the amount of people we are in contact with each day who have been impacted by abortion.

 

 

Two things I just want to mention briefly. One would be in the pro life movement, the language sometimes used that would send people away rather than in to the heart of Christ.

Another very important piece right now would be in politics. I  just this past week listened to some politicians who are phenomenal in their commitment to life but when they speak they do not take in to account those out there suffering.

There are millions and millions of them and their vote often goes to the person who touches their core. What would it e like if we could honestly touch them, honestly care for them as well as the babies and move then to healing and wholeness so that they too become voices for life.

First time I'm doing this as a webinar but praying by Gods grace it brings a greater understanding to the impact of abortion EVERYWHERE

As 40 Days for Life approaches, we are readying our hearts to be united with you in prayer and fasting for an end to abortion. 40 Days for Life is a light in the darkness. Many women tempted to abortion have received the grace to give life to their children from your peaceful witness, sidewalk counseling, prayers, and fasting. On behalf of those women with whom we have the privilege to live and serve, we thank you.

We leave you with a message from Bishop Peter J. Byrne, capturing the importance of this upcoming 40 Days for Life Campaign in our Archdiocese at this time.  

After the premier of the movie Unplanned this Spring—depicting the conversion story of Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood manager—and in the aftermath of the devastating law permitting abortions until the moment of birth, many parishioners have expressed a desire to pray and witness to the sanctity of human life outside abortion clinics. I am inspired by the zeal of those moved to prayer because of the contempt for human life within our culture. As the Auxiliary Bishop charged with overseeing pro-life initiatives, I am writing to ask you to encourage that zeal within your parishes through an important initiative within the archdiocese:

40 Days for Life
September 25 - November 3, 2019

40 Days for Life consists of 40 days of prayer, fasting, and peaceful vigil at abortion facilities. Why participate? Because it works. According to Abby Johnson, “When [pro-life] people show up outside the clinic, the no-show rate goes up to almost 75%.” Many abortion-minded women in our archdiocese have turned around from abortion facilities during 40 Days for Life thanks to parishioners witnessing outside the clinics and services provided by the Sisters of Life and our pregnancy centers.

I ask for your renewed effort in making 40 Days for Life and pro-life intentions a focus of your parish prayers and works of mercy this October, when we celebrate Respect Life Month together as a Church. I am most grateful for your attention to this matter.

If you're an abortionist, it makes perfect sense to store fetal bodies at your home, like "Dr." Klopfer did.

It's just medical waste, right? Some may view it as tacky or strange though. So no pictures...

Klopfer died on Sept. 3. Nine days later, an attorney representing his family contacted the Will County Coroner’s Office, reporting that “medically preserved fetal remains” had been discovered on the property and requesting proper removal. It was discovered 2,246 fetal remains were on the property.

It is unknown what the approximate gestational ages of the fetal remains are, how old the remains were, or where the abortions took place. It is not legal to transport fetal remains over state lines, and abortion in Indiana is not legal past the 22nd week of pregnancy. If the abortions were found to have been performed on older fetuses, Klopfer also would have been guilty of this crime, as well.

Klopfer’s medical license was suspended in 2016 following numerous safety and legal violations in the state of Indiana.

Before losing his medical license, Klopfer was believed to be one of the most prolific abortionists in Indiana. Over his four-decade career, he is estimated to have aborted more than 30,000 children. He worked at three facilities, which he owned, with locations in South Bend, Fort Wayne and Gary. Klopfer only reported performing first-trimester abortions, raising further questions about the nature and developmental age of the fetal remains.

Father Fidelis Moscinski, CFR, walked out of a church in lower Manhattan the first Saturday in March as he does every first Saturday, to lead a rosary procession marking the beginning of an annual, internationally-coordinated pro-life campaign called 40 Days for Life to Planned Parenthood’s Margaret Sanger Center two blocks away on Bleecker Street. Held twice a year, 40 Days is scheduled to begin again on September 25, 2019.

As was usual, the procession that morning was greeted by pro-abortion protestors angrily chanting “This church harasses women!”. What was different, was the protestors holding a large sign showing a picture of the priest being arrested for participating in a Red Rose Rescue accompanied by their screams of, “Hey, Moscinski, why do you hate women?”

 Nothing could be further from the truth.
