Photos are from last year's event, which as you can see from the last picture at end of press release, received some coverage from Westchester channel 12.
Mark your calendars and join us for our annual Women's Equality Day Reformed, gathering at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, August 9th, at the Westchester County Board of Legislators Michaelian Building, 8th floor large Conference Room, 148 Martine Avenue at Court Street in White Plains, New York. Ceremony starts at 12 Noon sharp!
This year's theme: Courageous Women Call for Hope and Life Solutions in New York State
Governor Andrew Cuomo's passage of the horrific anti-life Reproductive Health Act is a call to all voting women to speak out for candidates and for alternatives to this increasing choice of death for the most vulnerable among us.
Our 2019 Honoree is advocate Maria Teresa Rueda of the Saint John Bosco Community in Port Chester. We will highlight her personal response to the needs of her community through her work as Family Advocate with Family Services of Westchester Head Start Program; her vital outreach within the Hispanic community; and her faith response through Respect for Life Ministry tasks she shares with its Coordinator.
Scheduled keynote voices are hopefully two: the Honorable Toni E. Addonizio and the Honorable Ginny Nacerino of the Putnam County Board of Legislators' offices in Carmel, NY who will share their personal calls to action in a State bent on legislating against human life at all stages.
You are needed. See you there!

I am so sad to miss the event for the first time in years, but I already have travel plans on the same date. I will look at the website for photographs of the event. Congratulations to everyone!
