Join us and bring a friend on Friday, August 10th, for the 17th Annual Award Ceremony marking 98 years of women's voting rights. The theme this year is Feminism's Problems with Roe. Woman of the Year and WEDR Honoree is that outstanding champion of life for over four decades and active still, retired Director of Birthright of Peekskill, Tina McDermott.
The keynote speaker is local pro-life activist Maura Reilly who will share her personal journey and observations about the exciting direction of the pro-life movement's new generation.
The day will also recognize Patricia Vasta with a lifetime achievement award, and will recall in prayer and memory that uniquely staunch advocate for life, Alan Mehldau.
