Planned Parenthood's Annual Report is out (six months late) and we have the dirt

First, here is a link directly to the report - 2015-2016 Annual Report - PDF . Once you get past the first 22 pages of propaganda and patting on the back - then come the numbers - "services" and the financials.

Among "services" - 328,348 abortions.

As compared to - prenatal care, 9,419 and adoption referrals "to other agencies" - 2,839. And of course, 2,808,815 under contraception services.

So, Planned Barrenhood.

Financial stats -

Total Revenue (including taxpayer $$$) - $1,354,300,000

Total expenses - $1,276,800,000

Excess of Revenue over expenses - $77,500,000 - nice profit for a non-profit organization!

All of this is occurring as total Planned Parenthood revenue from federal and state sources has been rising, not falling. The mixed explanations from Planned Parenthood officials (and other explanations critics might supply, like the notoriety Planned Parenthood continues to receive for its role in gruesome fetal-organ collection, as recent videos have exposed) may mask a straightforward truth: Inexpensive family planning is nearly ubiquitous, from drugstores, to free clinics, to community health centers, to doctors’ offices, and beyond. Planned Parenthood’s model belongs to a fading era of embattled radicalism, tied to other political agendas, including elective abortion all the way to term.

Why such a long delay? Planned Parenthood’s communications department did not return National Review’s multiple requests for comment on the matter. But it should come as no surprise that the report is full of obfuscation, some of which tries (and fails) to refute the undercover videos released by the Center for Medical Progress, an investigative group, in July 2015 — videos seeming to depict evidence that Planned Parenthood has long been profiting from selling the body parts of aborted babies.

Despite taking an unprecedented amount of time to provide up-to-date financial information, Planned Parenthood remains unable to cover up its grotesque dedication to abortion without relying heavily on false claims. As this latest annual report illustrates, Planned Parenthood’s executives have to lie to the American people to keep their doors open, even as they receive taxpayer money and perpetrate atrocities against unborn children.
