As anyone who met her will attest, Gert was a wonderful woman - lovely sense of humor! - and great advocate for life.

Gertrude M. Keogh (1921 - 2015)
Gertrude was one of the founders and 54 year member of Legion of Mary in Westchester. She served as president of the Legioncuria and Right to Life committee in NY State and White Plains. She was one of the original founders and members of the Catholic Club and a 20 year volunteer at both the Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne and Schnurmacher Nursing Home. Gertrude received the St. Michael Award from the Catholic Coalition of Westchester, the Cardinal Cooke Award from NY State Right to Life and was awarded the Lifetime Achievement from Westchester/Putnam Right to Life.
I knew Gert for a number of years after we moved up to Westchester. She was such a vibrant, intelligent woman. We used to have coffee regularly, and I learned how devoted she was to pro-life activities and values. She will be missed!! Mrs. Judy Anastasio
