DeMarco points out huge past errors by the Court, when it legislates from the bench as it did in the recent gay marriage ruling.
We all know about The Dred Scott decision and Roe v. Wade, both of which are mentioned in the essay.
Here's another one, and hit the link for the full essay which is well worth reading.
In a sense their is a weird consolation in the fact that such horrible Supreme Court decisions such as Dred Scott and Buck vs. Bell(forced sterilization) were voted into law and overturned . One by civil war. I believe Justice Kennedy will come to regret his infliction of this decision on this country. Using the term "civil rights" and labeling any one who believes marriage is between a man and a woman is a bigot is creepily Orwellian. A free country can only exist if it is built upon basic truths describing marriage as two people who "love" each other is not what marriage is. The court has done a very bad thing to the children of this nation.

Iam not surprised we as Catholics must stand firm and remember God is in Charge. Trust in God's time.
