For your Assembly person, the bill we oppose is A.2129, euphemistically called the "Death with Dignity Act". Similar legislation introduced in the Senate is S.3685.
Make it clear in your telephone conversation or letter that you are totally opposed to a "Right to Die" act that allows a doctor or family member to assist in the killing of a patient. Make clear that you are all in favor of palliative and hospice care for the terminally ill, the true compassionate choice.
