Women’s Equality Day Reformed holds its 13^th annual commemoration of women’s suffrage on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 12 Noon at the Westchester County Office Building, 148 Martine Avenue at Court Street, 8^th floor in White Plains, New York.

According to Committee spokesperson Regina Riely, “The day remembers the early suffragettes and celebrates with and for women of all voting persuasions. The annual ceremony that had taken place in the County for 28 years has been reformed to now honor a new group of Westchester women formerly denied recognition and whose views, like their feminist foremothers, champion a shared voice in government and the essence of womanhood: protection of the continuity of life.”
