Abortion involved in Cross River, NY murder/suicide.

The horrific situation of three murders and a suicide is even more horrific.

Sam Friedlander, the man police say savagely beat his wife to death and fatally shot their two children, had pressured her into aborting what would have been their third child, Amy Friedlander's father said today.

"He said he was too old to have more children. And when she got home, he not once did anything to help her," said Gary Perez, who went to a Pennsylvania funeral home this morning to make arrangements for his daughter and two grandchildren, Molly, 10, and Gregory, 8. "She was very upset, and she was having difficulty coming to terms with it. When she expressed this to her husband, he told her to 'deal with it.'"
