Catholicvote.org needs your input!
The coming year will inevitably bring new challenges along with new opportunities. 2010 is an election year. Thirty-six Senators along with every sitting Congressman is up for re-election. Politicians of both parties will make lots of promises, and many will seek support from the Catholic vote.
Health care “reform” certainly will be a big focus early next year. We also anticipate Democrats will move forward with new legislation focused on jobs, the environment, and immigration.
Let’s face the facts. The electorate is frustrated, uneasy, and looking for answers. Poll after poll suggests that Americans are disgusted with politicians in general. Back-room deals, billion-dollar bailouts, and worries about our economy and our security have many Americans saying: Enough!
And while these issues will headline the news, what about the foundational issues? Should politicians that vote for a pro-abortion health care bill pay a price?
How would you respond?
New ads, commercials? Radio, television, billboards, the Internet? Would you aim to inspire, to critique? Would you focus on facts, ideas, or specific people? What would you tell your fellow Catholics and Christians?

As they state in their extended posting we've linked to, catholicvote now has half a million members! If you haven't signed on with them, please do (you don't have to be a Catholic). And encourage like-minded people to join.
HEALTH CARE REFORM NEEDS FIXING, NOT REPLACEMENT.
