We recently were sent information on a one-person rescue done on August 15 in New York City:
John Doe M9 is being held at Riker's Island, after being held for close to one week in the Tombs in downtown NYC. He performed a rescue at an abortion mill on Bleeker Street in the Village on August 15, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. His goal is to stand with the unborn young so that no children die without another human's suffering with them in order to show the value of these children and give thanksgiving to God for having created them. As the denial of the right to life of the unborn is an unjust, and therefore no, law, at all, the rescuer is not cooperating with the courts and will not provide his name. This rescue by John Doe M9 represents the first action taken by a member of the newly-formed Order of Mercy at Gethsemane, a non-canonical order dedicated to prayer, rescue, quiet, and if must be, prison. To support John Doe M9, he asks all to pray the Universal Prayer every day.
The Universal Prayer, which is attributed to Clement XI has several versions. Here is one of them.
The Universal Prayer - Attributed to Pope Clement XI
UPDATE: If you are unable to say the universal prayer, John Doe asks you to pray one Hail Mary, one Our Father and one Gloria, as well as a prayer to St. Anthony the Abbott (also known as St. Anthony the Great), who is the spiritual patron of the order. "The Life of St. Anthony the Great"
St. Anthony lived in the third and fourth centuries and is a founder of monasticism. His temptations and tortures in the desert have been frequently presented dramatically in art history.
