Join the Northern Westchester & Putnam Center for Life Educational Trust Breakfast this Saturday, April 25, 9-11:45 a.m., at the Holiday Inn, One Holiday Inn Drive, Mount Kisco. Registration 8:45 a.m.
John P. Margand, Esq. is the guest speaker on "Taking Back the Culture" Abstinence Education as a realistic alternative! This counter-cultural approach to sex education is timely and will be of special interest to parents in New York who are currently facing promotion of the "Healthy Teens Act". The information you hear will help prepare you for the critical challenges that are certain to permeate sex-education classes unless this bill and others like it are stopped. A consistent and common sense approach to teaching chastity and health issues are needed for our young students in public and private schools, and John Margand will help us understand why these messages cannot be ignored.
Honorees are Peg and Walter Doherty of St. John's Respect Life Committee in Mahopac and Edmund P. Riely, Jr. of the Westchester Right to Life Party. All three are seasoned activists whose prayers and political presence have helped fight for protections for the unborn for decades.
Center for Life Director Alan Mehldau is seen below with students who attended last year's event.
