The National Silent No More Awareness Campaign
Gathering
Please Join SNM New York, with Founder Georgette Forney
February 26, 2009
City Hall Park
12pm - 2pm
The campaign has three main goals:
- Educate the public that abortion is harmful emotionally, physically and spiritually
- Inform women who are hurting from an abortion that there is help
- Invite women to join us in speaking the truth about abortion’s negative consequences
You can participate in 3 ways
1. If you are a post abortive person who would like to speak out about the harm abortion has brought to your life
- If you are a post abortive person who does not wish to speak but is willing to hold a sign saying “I Regret My Abortion”
- As a general support and prayer person who will attend as a spectator (we need you there!)
Abortion must be addressed on many fronts -- such as the legal, political, and spiritual -- but the National Silent No More Awareness Campaign is designed to address abortion by touching the hearts of people. We believe that abortion should be unthinkable as an option for women facing an unplanned pregnancy. Evidence of the damage abortion does to women, men and others will help persuade society that women dealing with an unplanned pregnancy deserve better help than legalized abortion
If you are planning to attend in any of these capacities please contact Colleen at 347-245-9476 or email [email protected] or Theresa at 718-881-8008 or [email protected]
Georgette Forney, Executive Director of NOEL (National Organization of Episcopalians for Life) and Janet Morana, Associate Director of Priests for Life are the Co-Founders of this Campaign.
Please check at http://reclaimingourchildren.typepad.com/ on Wednesday Evening, February 25, if you plan to attend the event, to ensure that the permit has been issued by the City of New York.
