Bob Marone will interview WEDR Committee Co-chairperson Judith Anderson on his Good Morning, Westchester! program on New Rochelle's WVOX Radio 1460 on the AM dial, at 6:30 a.m. on Monday, July 28. The topic is this year's Women's Equality Day Reformed ceremony at the County Board of Legislator's Michaelian Building, Martine Avenue in White Plains on August 15th at 12 Noon. This year marks the 88th anniversary of the 19th Amendment and women's voting rights. A commemorative event has taken place in Westchester County for the last 35 years; the last seven years by the current committee of "pro-life feminists".
The 2008 recipient of the Mott-Stanton-Anthony award will be the Reverend Geneva Patterson of Peekskill, and the kenote speaker is author and syndicated columnist, Maggie Gallagher, current President of the National Organization for Marriage.
The annual WEDR event takes place at the County Board of Legislator's Michaelian Office Building, 8th floor, 148 Martine Avenue in White Plains on Friday, August 15, 12 Noon - 1:00 p.m.
