Activists mark Good Friday with New City anti-abortion vigil | lohud.com | The Journal News
The Helpers of God's Precious Infants organized the 24-hour prayer vigil, which continues until noon today outside the professional building at 200 E. Eckerson Road.
We're praying to the Lord to stop this terrible holocaust," Beirne said.
Good Friday was a good day for the vigil because it commemorates Jesus Christ's death and helped people to understand that the deaths of unborn children are wrong, the Pearl River woman said.
Thank you to everyone who came to witness for Life with Love. Albertus Magnus Pro-Life Club, you are our inspiration. Special thanks to all the families, men from St. Gregory Barbarigo Cornerstone and Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration and the Knights of Columbus. People came and joined us to pray off the streets. Others stopped to thank us for being there and told us that Jesus loves us. Please join us in prayer that the abortion provider, Dr. Chao, stops killing babies and that his heart is converted to life and this place of killing becomes a place of healing. All this is possible if we trust God and believe.
