Here's some good news from Ireland, where the total ban on abortion is under pressure!
Ireland's Rally for Life a Huge Success Family & Life
The Irish pro-life rally, called 'Celebrate Life', which set off from the General Post Office, on Dublin's main street, had heads spinning as the colour and the enthusiasm of the participants grabbed the attention of thousands of Dublin shoppers on a busy Saturday afternoon in Ireland's capital.
There was an almost carnival atmosphere as the marchers turned into Molesworth Street from Dawson Street. From the stage awaiting them outside the Dáil (Irish Parliament/Houses) a public address system played such music as stewards, coming ahead of the main body of the march danced and cheered.
The rally was headed up with a banner, held by a number of young women, calling on the Irish Government to keep their pre-election pro-life promise and not legislate for abortion or allow for embryo research.*-*-*-*-*-*-*
Speakers included members from various pro-life groups. Amnesty International, the European Union, the United Nations, the HSE and the media were among those under attack by some of the speakers. Niamh Uí Bhriain said there was "an orchestrated attack on our way of life here by the United Nations and the EU" through what she described as their attempts to foist abortion on the Irish people.
"Never as long as we live and breathe will we accept the killing of children in our country. This is our country," she said. "We will hold back the attempts to kill our children."
The Irish saved civilization once before, maybe they can do it again.
